Found a kit. Had to remake the rear shock brace due to shorter dampers. The rest was kind of spot on.
The body is for a 220mm conversion but was parfect for this project. The chassie is 230mm wide at the rear end

Yes its going to be a monster, first summer i have play whit mine. Started out 3cell and Tekin Rx8 gen2 and Pro 2 5100kw. Mid summer i got Pro 2 5900kw and whit that puni engine i was almost down to 1:8 nitro track lap times.
Late summer i got Lrp 4700kw long can. Only used Lrpix8 on it. Gen2 died bit before i got it(: But on those few test runs close to minus degree it was enough. I Might use tekin Pro4 4600 ore Prohd 4300 next summer, the weight and can length fits better balance 3 cell battery and its probably more than enough to park those 1:8 nitro track cars.
I will post a link when I get home. Is that LRP esc better than the Rx8? Thought those Tekin was bullet proof. Im going for 4s in my setup. Not sure about motor, but those Tekin Pro4 looks sweet. Any pics of your rig?

Lrp Ix8 is probably the most shitty esc ever sold, only one i had to try the 4700kv.

Gen2 is probably the best esc use. Low weight compare to many other esc brands. Trying to wait, Gen2 have been on marked a while now. Was hoping Tekin make a Gen3 in some sexy alu housing bit dust proof would be cool soon!

Rx8 only big fault is housing soak dust, you get corrosion on the components.

I been using Viper VTX8 alot on the car, very smooth esc. Vtx8 113g no wires Gen2 76.5g.

Been drooling a bit on Orion Vortex R8.1 Pro 2-4S 180A but its so heavy 146g.

puttekula

4 cell and Pro4 ore hd might be perfect if use not so heavy 4 cell pack.

I probably try that to, when i get bored of 3 cell But for now on a track 3 cell is more than enough for me and hopefully enough to get better lap times than 1:8 Track. If not then i really hurry get 4 cell

I have Hyperion 3300mah 4s 45c packs. They are by a margin heavier than
2s 7200mah. Smaller in size but a little bit higher.

We have a small thread about this concept over here in Sweden. Something for you Yuppe to fill
in with?

What kit do you have? Using the long rear shocks?

Im not shure, but I have read somewhere that they are about 40mm wide. 5mm less than the tires I use.
