Nice one chaps. It really is a fantastic kit. I've started to look at what 748 parts can go onto the car. I've already fitted the new front steering blocks and updated rear hub carriers to accept the aero discs. I've also got the super short shocks on mine now - my 747e is a converted nitro version and so had the longer shocks. The Front steering blocks from the 748 give you quite a bit more steering throughout the corner...

Good move Dan, let us know what other 748 parts fit. And I here ya on the 977e. If I could find a shell like my latest 747e E92 shell below for a 977e, I would pounce on it with a 12s set up

M7H,

First off, Excellent driving skills. Your 966e looks real good and handles very well on the track.

Before purchasing my 977 nitro last year, I discovered that Montonica shell online, but after searching and searching, I couldn't find anywhere to order it from. So I went with a delta plastic BMW M1 shell (see my profile photo album). Although I preferred it much much more to those ugly lola shells, it really didn't appeal to me. So frustrated with the whole thing, I shelved the 1/8 onroad project and eventually sold the car. Now, looking at your car confirms that I would have been satisfied had I been able to secure one of those shells.

For everyone else reading this, my apologies for going off topic.

To bad you couldn't get the body, I can understand, because even from me from within Europe it took some time.

Never mind, back on topic indeed.

Nice, where did you get the floating body mount? I probably need one more.

What brand body is that and how wide mm is it 220 ore 230?

I been using Blitz P908 1/10 230mm GP body.

Yes its going to be a monster, first summer i have play whit mine. Started out 3cell and Tekin Rx8 gen2 and Pro 2 5100kw. Mid summer i got Pro 2 5900kw and whit that puni engine i was almost down to 1:8 nitro track lap times.
Late summer i got Lrp 4700kw long can. Only used Lrpix8 on it. Gen2 died bit before i got it(: But on those few test runs close to minus degree it was enough. I Might use tekin Pro4 4600 ore Prohd 4300 next summer, the weight and can length fits better balance 3 cell battery and its probably more than enough to park those 1:8 nitro track cars.

I have also run mine in full 1:8 track set-up. Locked rear axle and (modified) one way diff in front. Its fun and aggressive but tire wear is insane. And i drive on a bit old asphalt so after those test i have dun i drive faster use 2 diff and tire`s last long.
