I heard through the grapevine that Nic Case recently made another R/C Bullet run at 188 mph! That's almost Ludicrous Speed!

Anyone know what kind of timing system that is?

I believe it's made by Trackmate -

http://www.trackmateracing.com/shop/...ar-drag-timing

for some reason their picture of the "Speed Trap" deal isn't showing, but if you look at skateboards and some of the other options, you can see the basic same box as Nics.

The wind was a big factor, the track takes a lot of prep work and I'm really pushing the limits of my equipment. The expense is also a factor.
Overall, a fun time, nice spending some time with Mak and Tracy, good food and a beautiful State. Looking forward to traveling back and going faster.
Here's the video.

This video shows what you should not do when running an r/c car over 100 mph.

Yes, the driver actually knocked himself over with his own r/c car.

It's sad but true. All things must come to an end. Almost 8 months after it started, the Turnigy 5000 is coming to an end.

No. The email notice simply says that this is the last week. It's pretty vague.

Congratulations. Nice job Nic! Way to break the 200 MPH barrier with a R/C car.
