Default Turnigy 1251TG

my son wants to join us in stock class on road 17.5 binky
so i was thinking of a cheap servo Turnigy 1251TG
but havnt seen any reviews does any here use this servo? good bad?

A friend of mine bought one, and he's happy with it. I'm not sure if he's tried any of the top-end servos to compare it to. But he's one of the faster guys in the club, so I think he'd be able to tell if it was holding him back.

It's a very nice servo for the money.

My son and me flogged three of them all summer without issue.

Compared to premium servos (e.g. Futaba BLS551, Futaba S9551), which we also have, the Turnigy 1251TG:
--- Has a little more gear slop.
--- Output shaft is a tiny bit under-sized. I addressed by making the inside of the servo horn a little smaller via a tiny bit of thin CA. Let the CA dry, then install the horn and it's nice / snug.
