That's clearly a TRF 417X, not a V5.

Think Hara just bought the kit and is racing it, hasn't got the split suspension blocks as far as I can see. Interesting to see hee got a X instead of the V5, I think the X is a better overal car. V5 was specially designed for the Worlds at Heemstede.

Shocks and towers look interesting...

They always liked the Tamiya car. No suprise to me to see him running one.

It's a 417X. It has a 417 top deck with the the front X-brace removed. From all reports, it's the Ride boss' car. So it make sense it's running short shocks with the new Ride springs.

Tweak board/stand is my guess, a good bit of glass should be dead flat and smooth, so would show up any chassis tweak.

The car that finished second was definitely the fastest on the track. Too bad he couldn't keep it together.

my guess its to wack his tyres on for scrutineers

"plate of rubber sir?"

either way, hara is just enjoying the field and enjoying what he is doing, to be honest he even said it himself he prefers off roading to on road anyway..which is fair enough, i like off road...in my head but the reality of it for me has been....rubbish lol i love touring cars and ill stick with them
