Yes, old school

I'm waiting for the production version of the new school
Bruce says it should feel the same, but obviously it's more refined, and easier to adjust

Thanks Ian
Bruce is really into how a car looks
He and Joel don't mess around

The production car will be even sweeter

And Form meets function with the rev8
Spectacular car, so easy to go fast with it

Any insight as to a release date? Would love to get one.

Thanks,

Not sure on the date, but it should be real soon. Built up one from the conversion kit, and can say right off the bat I picked up a tenth and a half/ two tenths over the Rev7. Now it's all about fine tuning for a little bit more

Ran my Rev 8 at the weekend at the UK Nationals. A very steep learning curve as we were using a new additive list that is more like the additives used in the US, SXT 3 etc.
I was also using Ulti tyres for the first time.
After a very challenging first day, I got the car sorted yesterday. It felt nice and was easy to drive, as usual let down by my driving. Paul Lomas also tried his new Rev 8 yesterday.
The car certainly generated plenty of grip, and was sympathetic to over driving.
I had mine configured with an inline battery, pretty much the same as RedBullFiXX's setup from IIC
We did have an issue however with the chassis plate. There was a 'car killer' corner on to the straight, many drivers of all abilities visited the wall during the meeting. For me on Saturday and Paul on Sunday, the wall won!
Bruce / Joel, I will email you tonight with the details and pictures.

Nice build

X-Hard Fr, X-Med Rr have a lot of grip
If Ulti had a X-Hard rear tire, that might be something worth testing too

But, Soft rear, is really sticky and could be the source of your grip roll issues, as well as diameter

X-hard fronts are on order, and we should have them for the next round. Chris has X-medium rears in already.

Dont know if its me but building up my Rev 8 with the Tamale rear end and the left hand side link fouls the left hand bulkhead. I could remove some material is that correct? Here is a couple of pics.
