Cool

Thanks Andrew

Here is the 17.5 setup
13.5 is identical barring motor/roll setup

Inline was easier for me to drive than Transverse

Thanks to Team Tamale guru Larry for switching the spare 8 to inline
This car bumped from B to A-Main in 13.5 thanks to his help

Bruce, Joel & Larry deserve a lot of credit for my performance at IIC

WGT and rev8's were $Money$

Witteman and I had an epic battle to the end, such a blast racing WFO that close, even if only good for 6th

im entertaining the idea of a switch from my r5.1 and i was wondering if i could get away with buying rev8 conversion? essentially will r5 bulkheads line with either tamale pod holes or speedmerchant holes? thanks for the insight.

Took 6 days from arriving in the UK to get to my house! Parcel Force took 3 days to notify me of the customs charge.

You'll love the car. I've now got the Tamiya, which is very quick if you drive it precisely and with a nice flowing style. And tonight I've found out that the Rev8 just needs vaguely pointing at the corner then you rag it! Awesome corner speed and it holds its line. Great fun to drive, especially when you take your brain out.

Ran it in-line with the set up copied over from the Rev7.

Hey Matt
No, R5 pod parts will not work with a SpeedMerchant
They could drill the chassis to fit an R5 front end, but I would not recommend that either, as you will be missing out on some of the Magic of the rev series by doing so
