Another run with the rev8 today. Im glad I decided to leave battery inline. Great handling car. I would of grabbed up a Speedmerchant WGT but lack of communication and availability in distribution of parts is concerning. I made a order a week ago and haven't heard of any confirmation yet.

I also e-mailed about getting spares for my Rev8 about a week ago and have not heard anything.
How much would I lose, if anything going back to the old school front end.

You won't lose much actually. My settings on the new front end are right around what the old skool settings are, and have been that way for over a year now. Mind you, it is nice to be able to change things like camber in small increments. What parts do you need to replace on the new front end?

I emailed Speedmerchant about getting a couple set of front arms, a set of side links, front springs, axles, kingpins. What else would be good to have as a spare. It would suck to have the car down for weeks from a simple broken part.

Check to see if the axle or one of the Philips screws is bent, I've found them to be pretty soft. Or the 4-40 screws the hold the plastic arm. Given the shape of the aluminum peice I don't think you'd be able to bend it.

As Dillon said, most likely a bent axle
To check, remove axle, roll on flat surface

Missed you out there yesterday Dillon

That makes more sense, I will take a look at that tonight.
Thanks

I wish Bruce would let Stormer carry his stuff. It makes more sense to have a retailer get orders out!

Cool

Bruce is working on some things to help streamline the order process which I think will help

He also updated the news section with some nice pics of Josh's cars from Snowbirds, a race report, and video of the mod race

I want to say Bob tried but never got an email back. I think we are beating a dead horse.

There use to be a online store that carried Speedmerchant stuff many years ago but they never had anything in stock , it was always on back order . Having another place that sells it doesn't mean the supply would be any better.
