Guess what I got in the mail today....haha, you guessed correctly. My Rev8 Pro!! Thanks for the 2-day shipping Bruce!!
Mixed feelings though when I looked at the chassis where the front-end sits. I'm not used to the holes looking this way...does anyone else have this; and is this an issue?

I wouldn't stress about it too much JayBee. You can clean it up with a grinding bit in a Dremel, but it's not needed

fyi, compared to the rev7 the current rev8 pro kit is an all new car. the conversion used the rev7 alloy pod plates with new gr/ep pod parts and new main chassis.
but compared to the initial rev8, the -pro has an all new rear pod, new alloy parts with new gr/ep parts too, and the new front end.

so if you never want the new pod or the new front end, then the conversion (if available) makes sense, it is more economical getting the new kit.

if you are interested I have leftover parts to make up most of the rev7-rev8 conversion with a 3mm (12R5) front end. it will need the gr/ep center pivot part.

I'd like to get the new car eventually, but things are tight at the moment, if I upgrade my rev7 and get an 8 in the future, I'll be able to run two classes. I'll shoot you a message in a bit Tony. Thank you.

I'm also going to be looking for the WGT 4 as well, as I expect that to be a big class at my track this year.... or at least a consistent class.

Joel is more of a sloth than an elf. But I still love him.
