I don't have 4 weeks, need it in the next 2 or it's too late.

You are not the only one in that boat! Sadly given Bruce's busy schedule and backlog, coupled with his track record, I don't foresee getting any kind of solid timeframes from him.

Bruce says orders received are being processed in roughly 14 days from when they are placed

We are rapidly entering the indoor season with the added heat of a USA World Championship, and a kit which is suddenly in very high demand

More kits will ship this week

Thinking about one of these cars but would like to run the associated R5 front end. Is the chassis drilled to accept this or would it need the hyperdrive adapter blocks ?

Yes you can order a chassis that takes the R5 front end however I have just changed mine back to the normal one so I can run the old skool front end.

Is the new school front end the same hole pattern front end ? Wondering if I could order a pro kit and choose which to run or if I need to order a specific chassis ?

SpeedMerchant cars run standard US hardware, AE uses metric, the front ends are not interchangeable unless, you order a chassis drilled for 3mm holes, or you use the Hyperdrive adapter blocks

If anyone is looking for the Hyperdrive blocks, have a Black set I will part with
SM front ends are so much better, can't see a need for the AE route, but to each thier own

New School, Old School same bolt pattern

Chassis will not be 3 mm screws. All rev 8 ' s now are 8-32. The front end you want comes in the box. Don't waste your time.

Default silly me...

The "New School" front end is primarily the reason I purchased this chassis.

Most current systems seem unnecessarily complex to me for what they need to do. With complexity comes slop. Can't stand slop in a pancar, makes it track wonky.

It's on my RK10, stunning...no slop, while adjustable.

I agree 100% Stan. For many of us the new school front end is a major draw to the SM cars.

The new front end is awesome. Been running the Rev 8 almost a year now. Started with the old skool front, and the new since January. This car is the real deal, just give Bruce a little slack on delivery. He is doing his best to get the orders out
