Hi Bruce,

I'm sorry, I should have said Larry at team tamale told me silver only. Will there be a pro kit available with all the cool stuff? I'd like to put a second car together for the timezone Grand Prix to run mod with. Like going fast

Has anyone driven the Rev 8 on an outdoor asphalt track? Or is this car strictly for carpet?

I drove mine on an indoor asphalt track and it was great. Box stock! Taking it to the outdoor asphalt track Saturday. Its the first 12th scale I have drove in two years and it handled better than the 12r5.1 I was using at the time.

Does anyone know what slapmaster thrust bearing set will fit on a rev8? I've been trying to order from slapmaster directly but no response for a week now. Thinking of going through another site (can't think of there name right now) to get one but it's not clear to me which one will fit.

You probably want a 101 though I dont remember which one I am using. This one will work with any car:

That's the site I was referring too. The one they have listed to fit everything has been out for some time now. I was going to get the other one listed #100 but you have to be specific on axle diameter measurements before ordering.

I think the 100 is the original one for brushed pods. It would be too long for Brushless. As I said, I don't remember which one I used, sorry.

Sometimes he has issues getting emails or he's out fishing, you should just call him.

Hi,

Brian (Slapmaster) is usually quick to respond, but I do think he is away at the moment. I race with him and work on club committee duties here in Seattle and I know he hasn't been in the loop for the last couple weeks. Likely on a well deserved vacation right now, he's always working, except when he's fishing. I am sure he will get to you when he returns.
