I also got 2 X 6packs at maxamps and I'm very happy. I got a lot of push with my batterie. I'm using those with my oval 19T car.

From max amps website

6 loose cells(guaranteed 1.18s or higher at a 30 amp discharge) and 7 pro-team silver battery bars. These cells do not have "matching stickers" on them but are matched by voltage. The 2005 version cells are simply the best on the market. Dont pay $80.00 for a set of 1.18s from other retailers. They are the exact same cells.
Anyone else find this a little odd?

for the cost of maybe $0.40 you tink they'd include stickers so people are alot more confidentin them

Also, the least relevant things to match by are voltage and resistance. You want to match cells by runtime and charge time so that they all dump at the same time and not send the weakest cell into reversal and you want them to finish charging at the same time so not to overcharge one cell and undercharge another.

Zapping doesn't mean a whole lot in new packs. The best deal is buying Intellect 3600's from rcstation.com . or on ebay. You get 6 unmatched and uncycled cells for about 19.50USD. And since they arn't cycled, you will get raw cells unlike GP who grades their cells before distribtion.
