Xray T2 009 with 304900 Gear Diff
Hi All,
Recently bought an xray gear diff (part number 304900) for my T2 009, the sites selling it including Amain say that it should fit but after assembling it I've tried fitting it and it won't go in. Seems like the original belt is too short.
Is there a different belt that needs to be used to fit it?

Spec-R makes a 34t gear diff for the Xray T2 line.

re t2
I think from memory you can fit a 38t spool and different belts to use the x ray gear diff. unless you like oil everywhere stick with the xray diff spec r is heavier and leak.
look up option parts for t2 on xray website. pretty sure may even be t3 belts so any spares you can still use if you upgrade.

Just found this on Amain.

Didn't think it'd be that simple...

Once you change the pulleys to 38t, the belts are exactly the same as the T3 and T4's
I run a '009 as my wet car with those pulleys so I can use the same transmission spares as my T4
