I strongly believe Hara will be pushing the DO6 Wildfire for the Worlds this year. I'm confident VBC and Hara has a deal worked out behind the scenes (hush, hush) type stuff that he will drive the DO6 just for the upcoming worlds. I really don't see him signing anything prior to the Worlds

Here's my take.... Hara has been there done it. Hara will been running a chassis that has a proven platform (and not the HB). He has also tested several cars and there is only one chassis he went for a second look, the DO6.
Also the VBC Wildfire is a two time ROAR champion and from my investigations the DO6 is a much better chassis than the original Wildfire. This car I believe is the fastest chassis out there hands down, just boils down to a world class driver to pilot the car on the podium, Hara seems to be the one and have interest in this car.

If Hara is sponsored by Amain Hobbies, then wouldn't it stand to reason that he would run something that they sell? Aren't they the exclusive US distributor for Yokomo? Thus, he would run a proven platform and make one of his sponsors happy.
