Hi, I noticed when measuring the rear toe that mine has 2.5 degrees on the left side and 3.5 degrees on the right. It is a new kit and standard spec.
Has any one had the same problem and how do you fix it?
Cheers

Hi, the Hinge Pin holders have the slightest amount of movement in them. Loosen the C0 ones off one side at a time and pull them out from the chassis with your hand while doing it up. This will set both of the inner ones to the same position. Now recheck toe, if still out the E30 block needs to be centered.

Cheers, got the toe even, now how do you measure the rear droop, the rear hub design gets in the way

Here is something from a previous page to address your question.

Do Vbc make the red Spacer in that picture? They look nice. Wonder what the whole car would look like with them on. Hmmmm

Gents I need a little advise

If I use a standard 10mm Hudy droop block and measure droop under the pin on the front arm I can set it to the normal 5-6 for indoor carpet

What would you be setting the rear to under the hoop if I wanted the standard 4-5 droop?

I hope that makes sense lol

At 5mm ride height, I believe most run the droop at 1mm when measured under the loop.

The VBC cars did well in round 1 of the 2014 Reedy International Touring Car Race of Champions with three cars in the top 10.

Gridworks Racing team driver Randy Caster drove his car to the top qualifying position posting a solid 5 minute run!

It is currently drizzling, so round 2 qualifying may be delayed a bit.

Do the D05 shock towers fit the D06?
Thinking of going back to older style (longer) shocks.

you only need towers that are 1 mm higher to use longer springs like yokomo and ride. i had the chance to test some from a teamdriver from a protoype car and really liked them. I asked bernd from raceberry to make me some. problem is that he has so much work the only will be ready in 6 weeks. you can also modify your schocks to use long springs

Hi Whityboy,

Yeah mate, I've already done the mod but cant get under 5mm ride height in the rear. Would be keen on a set of those shock towers
Possible to post on here when they become available?
If they end up being thinner too might reduce cars weight and reduce COG?
I've always felt the current towers, although super strong and look awesome, are too thick/heavy.

Cheers
