Pretty much done Just need to fit the old body and find a place for the transponder.
Setup per manual. Will test some setups that people posted here too. Weather permitting that is.

Looking good. Get A-01-VBC-0029-1 then you will have a place for the transponder.

I'm truly impressed with the D06 At our local carpet track this weekend. This was my first race with the D06. I was able to drop .4 off of by best lap time with this car Vs the other brand car I was running. I used the exact same electronics, batteries and tires from one kit to the other. My old car felt great with very little, if any room for improvement. The D06 was flat out faster, and I still needed a little setup tweeting. VBC thank you for a great car that's on par with the $550 kits!

I know the D05 had some parts breakage issues, but the D06 has taken care of all of those issues

Agree on the durability. I took some mean crashes, a head on, and came back unscathed.

As far as setups go, start with the base set up VBC Racing Shop posted for asphalt. Not too sure for carpet. Also thought of green springs, but wouldn't that be too soft for a sprayed track?

All I run is carpet.

I used the Dave Johnson medium grip carpet setup. I didn't have the supension blocks to copy it all.

It on the VBCracingshop.com under suport. There are a few things missing off of the sheet. But it got me going in the right direction.

bama racer your car looked great this weekend at the Carpet Duel race. For only having two days of runs time on it, I was impressed.

Now you have me wanting a new TC as well.

See ya on Nov. 2nd.

Bama racer...I don't mean to be dense but the only setup I could find there for a Med Grip carpet setup from Dave Johnson appeared to be for the D05. Would it be possible to provide a link to said setup? Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,
Mike
