Thanks Korey, just not sure what to say though since it appears that they will not be back in operation until July 18th.
I went ahead and ordered the WILDFIRE D06 from Gridworks; hopefully it will get shipped out sooner rather than later

Lots of racers have Ghosts and D06's at my local track (Action Hobbies Kingsville) including myself and my brother - LHS via aps-racing.net. Ghost is by far the best touring car for the money IMHO and the only thing that could tempt away from a D06 right now is Awesomatix - honourable mention goes out to the Mi5 evo.

Have just purchased a Wurks R1 21.5 from Gridworks just wandering as to what FDR you use, have tried the Wurks RC Tech Site but no one answered any help would be appreciated. At the moment I use a Hobbywing V10 which I am running a FDR of 2.94.

I put full aluminum screws up top with titanium screws on the bottom. I think I lost close to 30 grams total, although I would need to check again to have a precise number.

I am calculating costs for the stabilizer mount modification.

In regard to the Fireblot DM 2wd buggy, yes, we intend to support this car when it becomes available.
Is there any update or ETA for the stabiliser bar ends mod?
Thanks

I lost 15 grams with a Titanium screw kit and another 10 grams by using flex chassis. I found that out of the box the Wildfire is heavy but a few carefully chosen option parts helps.
I'm sure thinner shock Towers would help too.

I am looking for a flex chassis, no one in canada seems to have one. Will try grid works next week.

Which chassis are you running stock or flex? I am running a Viper vtx 10, a smc 6500 a KO Propo Low profile servo the small specktrum reciever and a fan. My T4 is exactly 1372 with the same stuff, the D06 weighs 1398.

T4 has standard flex deck and made from different material. Try flex top and bottom deck and it becomes a superior car ally screews are lighter but will strip easier

Stock chassis. I run the R1 8.4V fan.

I am also running the small carbon fiber front bumper cover, the optional battery mounts, the alum rear inner axles, and a one color wonder LW Body.

but all those parts made me under weight so I added the HW four cap to the ESC.

VBC newbee question alert:

Can I use a different brand of spur gear in my VBC Wildfire, or are the center hole a different size?

Thanks
