The VBC looks like a good car, I just worry about my limited setup knowledge on tunning a car to the different tracks.
Having local track knowledge and been able to ask an expert on the night exactly what to do is a big part of the buying decision.
Thanks again Noel.

Fred when I started running the car no one else in the club had even seen the chassis, Had advice from Ryan from Melbourne and also people at our track. I have found the car to be more consistent and when you have it set you will only have to make slight changes for different tracks.

There is 1 other in our club and there could be another one when he gets the money together, there is also someone else who after driving my car is very impressed and could be buying one and that was when I had only just started to set it up for our track.

Fred I sent you a PM with my general positive rant about the D06.

Noel +1...

I can quickly count 11 members with VBC's - 8 are D06 the other 3 are Wildfire D05-D06 hybrids. Lots of new drivers recently who have all been getting faster and learning setups very easily as I have. Ren at rabhobbies.com.au is their dealer (races one of the d05-d06 hybrid) and has a few on order - 3 are pre sold I think. If anyone is coming down for AOC, feel free to shoot me a PM or any SERCCC.com / Adrenalin-Arena.com member for advice/general help for your trip down here. I live close to the city and would be only too happy to share my fuel/e-tag bills over the full event if your accommodation is close enough to home - (Near the Shrine)

Randy, congratulations - I actually ordered some red 3racing spacers a week ago - Top and Hiroseiko do red also I believe. I was holding out for Gridworks to release their roll bar rod kit but couldn't wait any longer and am going to see if the ARC units can be adapted. Will GW be releasing theirs soon?

Speaking of the roll bar kit... any wordnon those, and more importantly for those racing spec classes, what about those super-lightweight axles? Can anyone tell me who makes them, how to get them, or the parts needex to build them?

Unfortunately, I will not be offering the aluminum axles as they lack durability and require frequent maintenance. This was mentioned on our Facebook page some time ago. We have an alternative that we will be testing shortly.

As far as the stabilizer kit, we will keep you guys updated. It shouldn't be too long.

Anyone have a front shock tower they can part with? Send me a PM if you have a spare that you're willing to sell. Thanks.

Are those standard 4deg caster blocks on the back of Lucas Urbains' car?

Cheers

This should shorten the wheelbase by about 1mm, in the rear.

Cool, thanks for that.
Did he have the Caster blocks leaning forward towards the chassis or backwards away from the chassis? I assume you can do either? And this alone would have a big difference in handling?
