How many times will the website allow us to use the $10 off coupon?

Edit.
I tried using it but that coupon is for new customers only.

Regarding the aluminum inner axles…
Are the fronts 50.5mm and the rears 49mm?

The HPI VTA front rims rub on the steering block. I didn't notice it until the race was over. There was a groove on each side that was almost 1mm deep. I am using 1mm spacers now.
Also, at full lock, the front rims were touching the front shock springs so I moved the bottom shock ends to the inner holes and that fixed the problem.
why don't you just set your endpoints on your radio instead of effectively changing the suspension characteristics of the car. Put the shock back out board and shim and set endpoints.

I thought about it also.
1mm spacer probably wouldn't be enough.
And I didn't want to lose the steering angle.
I will find out if it will be better or worse or the same on Saturday.

96t spur and 53t pinion won't fit.
52t is the max with 96t spur unless you file the red aluminum piece.

For VTA I had to run 5mm? hexes (they are 1mm wider than stock) and 1mm axle shims. It just clears the knuckle and the shock. Works great and I get full throw.

With 1 mm spacer I have just enough thread on the axle.

Hey Ed,

I've found 92T spur is a little easier to deal with form the few times I've run a spec class with my car. Ideally something like a 94T would be the one to get .

I currently use Panaracer spur gears. The ARC and Xray spur gears are alternatives if I can't find a good Panaracer gear.

I ordered a few panaracer gears from beamcat in HK.
I think I might have ordered a serpent one from amain also.
I think I will be set for a while when I receive those gears.

Thanks.

It helps stiffen the front of the car a tiny bit, resulting in increase initial response into the corner. However, it does take away a little bit of steering in the middle/exit of the corner.
