What brand spur gears fit besides the VBC ones? I would like to have some more options besides the 2 that VBC offers.

Spur gear from Xray or serpent can both fit.
Panaracer spur gear is the default set.
There are more size options available from roche.hk

I've always used the ARC spur gears. The Xray ones have an offset to them. Which I don't personally don't like.

Hey Professor, Zeppin Racing Spurs also fit. I've been using the Panaracer Spurs, they have a wide variety and great quality. Which hexes did you end up choosing?

Default finished

Finished building...right at 12am
I have to say one of the best builds to date.
Bags were marked perfect, didn't have to guess if I had the correct screw instructions are very good.

Absolutely zero reaming needed, everything fit seamless.
Gear diff butter smooth, Ecs included in the kit (I didn't even know) .

Thanks to VBCracingshop.com for the help and super fast shipping.

Will post up carpet setups soon.

First time out with the car, today. I started with a setup from VBC Racing shop, car was dialed from the start! I'm so used to having a car with mediocre steering so it took me a while to get used to it. Bottom line is, the car is smooth, tough, fast and consistent. I knew when I unboxed it this car was superior to other touring cars I've owned. Thanks to VBC racing shop, and Brandon and Jay at Speedworld!

Definitely a good day for you with a new car! Crazy how much time you can shave off your laps by swapping to a good car. Good job today.

The D06's were fast today at Speedworld. VBC racing shop will post the setup we've been using there with success soon. Great asphalt setup.

Devin is a mad man! Devin and Dave E. together at the same event, both running their VBCs? Give somebody else a chance, guys

Great job.

It appears that everybody is faster with their D06 thus far, that's so awesome!

You have been on a tear since picking up the D06! Glad to see that our base asphalt setup is working well from you and others from SoCal, NorCal Hawaii and beyond.

The setup is very stable, has good steering, rear end grip, corner speed and is easy to drive at the limit, which I am sure you already know Jay L.

Our Hooked up Asphalt Wildfire D06 Setup can be found on our Setup Sheets page HERE.

Sorry we haven't been on lately, but we have been really busy making improvements to our Web site. With some back end modifications and other improvements, we have been able to decrease page loading times by 80% thus allowing our site to load faster than 92% of Web sites while also loading more data. Additionally, we have streamlined our category menus to make finding individual products faster and easier and have also enhanced our "Shop By" menu. We are also working to implement a live chat feature and are hoping to have it up and running by the end of today.

Lastly, We are continuing to make improvements to our base asphalt setup and are expecting to add a more aggressive setup for drivers who prefer a more edgy and responsive car within the next few weeks.

Can't take it any more - been drooling on VBC for 2 years now - D06 on the way. I don't need a new touring car - very happy with my Mi5 - will be an interesting comparison to the Schumacher which is also very fast out of the box with minimal changes.
