My local tracks aren't high grip.

Has anyone tried the aluminum chassis on a asphalt surface with medium grip?
Or has anyone tried the 2.25mm flex chassis?

What advantages would one expect?
Thanks

Default RSD SPRINGS???

Does anyone know if the RSD springs made for the T4 will fit? I've good things about them and the success they have had with T4 owners. Im looking to get a few more options on springs and the HPI are too tall.

They fit, but you will have trouble getting ride height over 5.5mm. I liked to run 6mm on our outdoor track and couldn't get it with RSD Springs. On Carpet the orange front, blue rear combo is what I am running right now with the Aluminum Chassis.

Thanks for the info. They are that short its hard to get a a high ride hight??? Im running into the opposite problem with the stock springs running in VTA. I can barely get 5mm hight out of it and thats running the farthest hole out on the arm and no more than middle holenon tower. Ive actually gota berzerk rc custom tower in the way that raises the holes 2mm to try and be able to use all the shock mounting positions.

Have you thought about using D05 shock bodies with the TBB shafts (Ghost set-up) to help get the rear ride hight you want?

The RSD springs are only 20mm tall just remember that when you are doing setups. I never thought of using the older bodies to get the height. I will look into that. Thanks for the idea.

I believe Jimmy Maddison has one of the new D07 kits at Vegas this week, but nothing new was used at worlds.

Probably the best place to follow VBC news is through Facebook, by joining the 'VBC Racing' and 'VBC Racing Fanatic' groups.

Just got my new rear shock tower in from Bezerk RC. Raises the mouting holes up 2mm so I can use all the mounting positions on the tower and the arm. Running VTA the only holes on the arm I could use and still get bellow 5.5mm ride hight was the outer most hole. This should help as I have been looking for a way to soften my rear suspension up without going super soft on the spring. Pics will be up as soon as I have it all mounted up tomorrow.

Anyone have a good setup for a low grip / smooth asphalt track?

Thanks in advanced
