Weezy, very nice looking build. One thing I did notice on your build and you should really correct before trying your VBC. The front right outboard ball end, swap the short one to the outside otherwise it will hit the rim and effect your handling. Looking really good. Have fun with it.

Thanks guys! IDK little sketchy with the aluminum in aluminum but it looks 100 times better. I am usually the odd duck with the tc's at the local track and got a buddy that has this car and wanted it to look different. Extra 50 bucks with the red screws, spacers and wheel nuts and it changes the whole look. Really excited to run it. His car was dialed, need a couple runs on it before IIC this year.
Has anyone been using the aluminum chassis? That much of a benefit on the carpet or can you not really tell? Until the car rocks back and forth like a rocking chair when you check tweak lol

Clean wiring on that car and it's definitely game over. I respect the amount of time and creativity it takes to create a clean wiring job.

Just picked up my VBC Db06 this past Thursday. I gave it a once over and replaced a few parts and took it out for it first race this past weekend at Cal Raceway, The West Coast Sweep Challenge. Thanks to Lemar from www.Gridworksracing.com for bringing me the parts I needed with such short notice. That was excellent customer service. Also thanks to Eric Epp from Protoform who was also running the VBC sedan and gave me some tips.
I ran the 17.5 sedan class and had a great weekend taking the TQ and the win. I used the 13.5 setup from the Tamiya track and it worked great on Cal Raceways new surface.

Glad to be able to help and see you racing onroad again. Congrats on the W!
Will you be at Tamiya this weekend?

Hopefully weather will hold for the big race at Debbie's RC World in VA this weekend (first attempt was rained out). Even Mr. Paul Lemieux himself is signed up for Mod TC
