quick question...the double jointed drive shafts that come with the car come assembled. are they also lubed? can i install them as is or do i need to take them apart and lube them? Also, is that white lube in the kit any good? should i use AE black grease instead?

Ok, so I am guessing that you are in Europe?
We haven't used LRP tires or the top grip additive for any of our testing, but I am guessing that you have less overall grip than what we generally experience.
Anyway, not knowing your particular track, I would actually try going up a bit on the oils (Around 450/400) because the car has a tendency to roll over too much and become sluggish and unresponsive. You could also try a stiffer rear spring, decreasing front droop or raising the rear roll center from .5-1mm could help as well.
Hopefully some of this works. Good luck!

One more question the car is a bit heavy, a part from low profile servo, light body, what optional i can try to reduce the weight?

In regard to weight, what size battery are you running? We have found that a 6000 mAh battery balances best and is the simplest way to decrease the weight of the car. As of yet, we have not been able to conduct any conclusive testing between the reduced weight of the 6000 mAh battery and the voltage drop compared to heavier higher mAh batteries.
We will be offering titanium screws shortly (Within the next week and a half), to decrease the weight of the car and we will also be testing some of our own items, which if successful will provide fairly substantial savings. Additionally items like the 7075-T6 Inner Axles D-05-VBC-0063 will save approximately 5 grams over the steel versions.
How much does your car weigh currently and what weight are you trying to reach?

Well I am a new owner of a very lightly used D06 This is my first sedan so I am going to ask newbie questions in the future here so forgive me I have a couple of things to ask. First is there an online calculator somewhere so I can figure out which range of pinions I should buy? Is a fan needed as I see many people have them? Thanks in advance and I also want to say this car looks like it is nice quality!

Titanium Screws can save a little bit of weight but you cannot replace all steel screws with titanium ones.
The best weight saving practice is run a battery cap between 5500mah to 6000mah.
But power dropping could be an issue...
Also, choose a light-weight body (Save you 15-20g).
Well... if the car is well balanced in weight, a little bit heavier will not likely harm its performance.

I'll get a d06 soon but wanted to know what option parts are recommended?
I'll run 10.5 non boosted with lrp vtec cpx tires on medium bite carpet and lrp vtec g32 tires on low to medium grip asphalt.
