Hi All,

I am currently running two D05 WildFires and enjoy them very much. I am however looking toward next year and would like to know how you find the D06? To those who have built / raced the new chassis, how would you rate it vs the D05?

Thanks.

About 30% through the build. Car is SO nice. Can't wait to get it on the track.

Oops, had not seen your message. That's rather heavy by today's standards !

Thanks nonetheless.

Edit: I see you have a fan with long wire + fan mount, that should account for a good 15 grams...

Yeah, mine wouldn't be accurate either. I bought titanium screws to put in there while I was in Hong Kong.

i just read this...i must have missed it...i was waiting for this info...

unfortunately this may be a mistake...
APS is not easy to deal with for US hobby shops...
you guys may have just isolated yourself from a large part of the US TC market.

not trying to start a debate. just known from past experience.

olhipster, would an international distributor not work. Where I am based, no local distributors exist and I am using the international channel with good success.

Going to be more admin I suppose, not sure what the other reservations are?

On September 4th, VBC Racing welcomed Michael Kiesewetter to the team. On September 7, Kiesewetter set his VBC Racing Wildfire D06 onto the track for the first time at the NRW Cup in Germany and finished with a dominant 1st place victory. We have posted additional details including photos and the results in our "Good Reads" section.

We've also heard that Korey Harbke is now part of the VBC Racing Team and will be racing the Wildfire D06. The team has been growing steady as of late and we look forward to all of the new additions.

Lastly, we will be building up the Wildfire D06 over the next few days and will be providing professional photos and build tips for the new car, so Hebiki, stay tuned.

PM Hobbycraft has an order of D06's and support parts coming in late this week or early next.
