I honestly cant remember the last time mine broke and i had a fair few knocks last night.
In two years of racing mine I've only broke one of the front CV- Joints, ...then upgraded to the revised versions and not problems since. I find the car to be extremely durable.

When i first got mine the knuckles seemed to be made of cheese, but when i got a set of the 3rd gen knuckles they are seriously solid. I was considering the ally ones but there's no need. I might get the ally hubs just because they look nice but my real car is causing problems at the minute!

I see xrays break every week at our track as the markers aren't very forgiving, it makes me laugh because xray drivers seem to think they are indestructible.

Did those 3 hole knuckles ever surface in the states?

I have a feeling our distributor has given up, I've been waiting for the soft springs to come into stock for weeks now.

Default H4 podium finish at ROAR Region 12 Championship

Last weekend I took my H4 out to Greater LA RC Club for the ROAR Region 12 Championship Race and ran the 13.5 blinky class. This track is primarily for the nitros, but we had a blast. The 275 foot straight made for some serious gearing strategy. I qualified 5th and ended up 3rd in the A main just .07 sec behind 2nd. it was a close race and I just couldn't get by Charlie Barnes without taking us out so I just followed him and almost caught him at the finish line. H4 was Really hooked up all weekend.

I think I have the only set of those three hole knuckles that were given to me by DJ to try. I actually got scolded for posting pics of them, as they are probably not gonna be brought to market. I didn't like them for asphalt so I haven't been using them.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Way to go!!! I haven't been hearing much about the H4 lately, I thought I was the only one still racing it Glad to hear that it's still out there dominating the competition.

I am, and still loving it.

Just rebuilt the shocks and cleaned out the rear diff'. I am playing w/ the gearing right now, ..switching from a 104 spur to a 92 ..to get a lower FDR and higher top speed.

My car runs great. Still wish there was some promotion around this car as I think it deserves it.

Cool cup racer fan

Just found this page cool. I have 2 and love them. Race with them almost every weekend on carpet and asphalt. Break them very rarely. Any body know of any new up grade parts from Ofna or Hobao ??? P.S. eRlc. Still have my cup racers they just collect dust now lol.

Looking good.

I know they do the full ally hubs and knuckles but I've never tried them myself as the plastic stuff is strong enough.

My car took a massive beating on Friday night but nothing broke.

Best upgrade I'd recommend is the team losi shock bladders over the stock hobao ones, thinking about it I may rebuild my shocks soon, as I haven't done them since I go the car.
