....Local H4E, it also took the win in its first race. It got thoroughly worked in the main.

Thanks for all the pics and comments on this car. Been doing r/c for almost 30 years and this looks to be one of the best offerings from OFNA that I have seen in that timespan. It is winning some local races in places in capable hands and is $140 cheaper than the current Xray offering. With the green anodizing, the car must be money!!

Just finished my build; looking forward to trying it out.

Its worth mentioning the local race mentioned above was our expert sedan class (13.5). There were 2 H4E entrants and they were up against a field of current bleeding edge chassis including Yokomo BD7, Tamiya 417, & Xray T4.

One broke during an unlucky hit in the main and the other won the race. So as you say, the car has competitive potential in the right hands

I hope to be trying mine out this Thursday. I'll post a starting setup if I can find one.

Interesting in that the top deck design doesn't follow the latest thinking of a one piece top deck front to back. Good looking car none the less ...

I can let you guys know once it's in my hands!

So far the build quality has been better than my TC6.1; all the parts went together very smoothly and the machining is well done. No shimming was necessary to remove tweak.

The car is also lighter, but we'll have to find out if durability suffers as a tradeoff for the weight savings.

Time will tell how it compares overall.

I'm planning on posting up a list of build tips by the end of the week which will hopefully be helpful for everyone. Please look forward to it.

Tower has the H4 Pro listed at $521.99.

I know this is typical Tower pricing and the it will come down once it is actually in stock but that may be a pre-sale markup record. For that price, you might as well buy an Xray (or 5 Sakura XIs).
