Basically: thicker chassis = less flex = less traction

Your doing great and it was good to see you @ Horsham. You will learn a ton there.

Do you think it's worth it?

For me I would say no. The car has perfect balance for me in 17.5 sedan class. Money could be better spent elsewhere.

+1

this car really only needs a great set of tires and driver skills ...that's it in my opinion.

it happens from time to time. lol. I broke 3 left knuckles, 1 right knuckle, & 1 right c-hub a couple of weeks ago. there was a left handed turn that had my name on it. I had the kydex front bumper, but the foam bumper was pushing back into the wheels. I have since installed the parma stiff foam front bumper. I have only broke one knuckle since. and it should have broke no matter what. was on full tilt and side checked a 2x4 barrier right into the wheel.

the only three things this car needs. ..
1. big bumper
2. losi shock bladders
3. 4.4mm o-rings for the diff
and driving skill. I'm still working on this. lol

Which parma bumper did you get? Just curious if any of the pre-cut ones fit, or did you get the cut it yourself one.

That's really good to know, I'm going to be ordering one up soon (I'm completely brand new to on-road) and I won't have to feel so bad not ordering all aluminum add ons.

I was breaking a bunch of front parts until I got the extra stiff X-Ray foam bumper. Now I have more confidence to push it with less fear of breaking.

Was this a straight fit or did it need some cutting to get to fit right?

Mine came with 20wt shock oil
