I heard they were all running pretty much std cars, although looking at the setup it seems they are starting to understand how to get more out of the car as there are some interesting little changes to Jilles Set-up

I do wonder if, say, 2mm under the inside front camber link connection is 2mm or 3mm total (taking into account the fixed 1mm on the new hex balls). Someone should change the setup sheet to capture this!
Biggest deviation away from kit seems to be in steering links/arm connections though? And the droop setting is an obvious change of thinking!

That actually looks closer to kit set up in a lot of ways than what they were doing 6 months ago! Suspension blocks are bog standard for example.

way--under the arms using droop blocks.

I wanted to try the Setup tomorrow without the droop-blocks? Is this right?

I think I agree with you though!

The droop of 9.5 and 8 is a joke.
You need short shocks and springs to adjust this. Probably the TRF guys had the BigBore Shock from the new EVO or other Shocks
With the standard set, the setup can not be implemented.

That's because it's measured from the middle of the hingepin.

How is it a joke? That's how it's measured on the setup sheet. That's how we measure droop on Yokomo's, from the center of the outer hinge pin. Not from under the arms. If it was measure that why, it would be about 6 and 4.5 droop or close to it.

sos beat me to it... hehe

Ok guys, as rtypec a few pages back said, measuring the droop ...
Maybe you should write in the Setup

Well, I hope so, I spent this afternoon getting the car ready for the next meet doing just this. If not I guess all my inner camber links are too high and my steering linkages are too far forward
