That 458 body in Satoshi's paint scheme looks killer!

I have no more on it. But based on where it was in the article and by the looks of it I would think it was entered in the sports (stock) class by a privateer so I assume a private project car. But maybe someone who is Japanese can tell us more?

I also saw that and went WOW but then I found the price of the mounts and I went OUCH

Still, I might just have to order one, just to make sure it's worth it.

I may be doing a photo build for the mother ship. Waiting for some additional parts and a chassis...

I started building mine this afternoon, and I must say, I don't think I've used this many screws in a kit for a long time. Admittedly, I've only really used pan cars for the last year of so and this is a return to 4wd touring, but man... There are that many screws that this car wouldn't fall apart in a typhoon!!!!

I've also had a bit of trouble getting the rear diff to be nice and smooth... I'm guessing that's more a problem with my gear diff building ability rather than the kit though.

After you run it a couple of runs, the gears will "bed in" and it'll be fine.
