I raced in the Noracca nats last year and signed up for the year membership, the dude there said the site was down and they were working with the previous domain owner to get it released and not to worry about my year membership because norcca wasn't going anywhere... well I have to call bullshit on that dude... I never received any kind of norcaa membership card or anything at all... I think the dude just ripped off as many racers as he could on the way out the door.

People complain alot about Roar, but at least they are around...

Thanks for the step back in time. Speedworld is one of my favorite tracks of all time.

Forgot about this race. Some great times with Matt Francis, David Goss, Andrew Swanson and the SWR crew. Billy has always had a top program.

ask Homer Allen how easy it is to keep a sactioning body running? RC Nation anybody? then there is Arcor? and Homer's RCOS "Radio Controlled Offroad Series" East coast offroad got gunned down by roar setting it's races on his race dates that had been set for months. it's isn't easy to pull that off. and Roar doesn't have that many members last I check it was like 4500 or something like that. having been around since 1967 you would think it would be more. of course that was a while ago....

the only one that seems to be doing it right is RC Pro Series on a national scale. but he's keep mostly offroad even though there was a time he sactioned onroad races.

I would say if you don't like the present roar direction get involved instead of slamming it. as a roar member I had fun at the Hobby Carpet Nationals in Dallas and it was fun running Mod 12th scale again as I didn't have a 13.5 class to run... and I finished my main!!!
