Incidently on the shocks they do an alloy bottom set with smaller o-ring and that makes the shock perform way better..

Thanks. I will email a list of everything I am looking for.

It seems like it will be a great car. Just worried about parts for it.

Can anyone from RGT confirm if the Team Energy X10TC is a legitimate rebrand of the RGT R2?

http://www.nitrorcx.com/88c211-x10tc...d-rtr-24g.html

If so, are all the parts the same, or does the Team Energy version have any differences worth noting (besides electronics). The car appears to be almost identical to the RGT R2 as far as I can tell from the product pic, only difference is that the carbon parts are black on the Team Energy version where the RGT version uses green carbon:

Same car Sir, and XRay suspension parts will also work on this car as will XRay short springs.

Thanks...

I see the link for Expresss Hobbies is now dead... where they the OEM? Has RGT been replaced by Team Energy now?

I realize that some parts may be compatible with XRay, but nobody has determined that the R2 is a direct clone/copy of any other chassis, right?

The RGT R2 I have seen is a copy of a T4 '14. He purchased it from here http://www.rcmart.com/110-4wd-rgt-ii...cPath=420_1726

Looking at the Nitrorcx one it is mostly plastic. The RGT R2's I have touched have been aluminium Bulkheads and such.

Thanks for the info, would you say that it's a part for part direct copy, or was it reverse engineered kinda like how the Turnigy DB copied the Kyosho DB, where they came up with entirely new molds, and maybe 80% of the parts were compatible, but none were a direct copy because new molds were redesigned/enhanced.

It's kind of a fine line for me... I feel that reverse engineering is acceptable, but direct mold copying is not cool.

Guys, I have all of the parts for the RGT that express RC hobbies had and I can get the parts for this car as needed. just PM me for parts, if I don't have something you need, I will get it. I have car kits, all parts, option parts etc.

Just let me know.
