Hell, I can't figure out how the other teams can't close the gap if they know all these changes yokomo is doing?
Mark R. IMO is the best touring driver in the world and he is struggling to keep pace with Volker which shows Yokomo is a step ahead of the game.
I was basing what I posted based on the person I have spoken to that is there, what he has ran the past few races on one of his cars if not both and the fact that they have showed no up close pics of his cars the past 3 races. His window tint is extremely dark the past few races too.
Ive been to one of these races and can tell you that when those guys are racing against each other its nothing like anyone here has experienced. What we do at big races makes us look like kids on Christmas morning and them F1 drivers/mechanics. The way they handle themselves and their preparation is completely different. When a couple of them come to the US for IIC or Reedy they come here for a vacation and dont really take it to serious. Sure they like to win but the atmosphere is completely different when ALL of the pro mod guys are together. At the race I was at Volker had his two "race" cars and then a "photo" car for pictures. Most of the "pro" guys all run tinted windows for a reason from what I saw there. To make it harder to see whats going on under the body.
Just my observations from going to one of these events and what Ive been told this week.
P.S. I have not heard which car he settled on and is running though. But they are always testing. Yokomo doesnt send their head engineer and designer to the races for nothing!
