Hi Guys, what kind of settings are you generally running?

Have you tried mb models or looked at schumacher site as they are the importers?

Bought one of theses for 17.5 blinky but struggling to get any kind of raw power from it.
Tried gearing high with less timing and gearing low with massive timing. Just feels flat

The track is with a 65ft long straight, and then with many high speed turns, and a few tight corners. So you are on full throttle a lot of the time.

My basic settings on the esc is 50% boost, and 10%timing. My endball timing was around 32.5deg, but I turned it down to 30deg, to see if I could get the temp down. But it didn't do much. My final drive was 7.47.

I compared with my Novac Vulcano, with 100% same settings on the esc, and final drive, and this was about 30F lower temps.

Any surgestions where to look at first, to get a more acceptebel temp ?
Start by reducing can timing to 10-15 deg.

Increase the final boost rpm to around 17000rpm.

I thought if you ran boosted at 26 then turbo would be 38 to make up 64.... No?

its a total of 64 steps but you dont have to run 64 steps ! Like running a 10.5T or a 4.5T your never going to run 64 steps or else it would run very very hot.

I run 3.92 , 1 tick mark less than 50 degrees. 100 x 40 ft carpet track. Just as fast/quick as the d4, actinium and R1 motors. Motor temp is 75-77c read w/ program card.
Also i asked hwna if 86c was safe, got a reply stating that the motors can take up to 126 C, reading with the program card.
