Piss poor... Nothing like wasting money and getting nothing out of it. I was all excited about this race, but this doesn't make me happy at all... What HOT new features does this new system offer???? Oh wait it will still just track my lap times. You guys might want to put this info somewhere on the flyer because I would have came thinking my transponders worked and been a little upset. I know I am not the only one with MRT transponders.
It sucks i know but ur going to have to swap over soon im sure if ur track plans to run more than another season

Travis have u raced since last winter ? U might find that ur home track has upgraded also . and if they didn't well... I hate to know what will happen when they need work on their decoder in the future . cause thats a heavy price tag if they dont upgrade not mention all the racers that im sure race at track having the new pure amb that would have to go home .

Just wondering how many or how often tracks have issues with their "decoders" over the years. I am guessing it was more of a scare tactic to get owners to change over... For someone like me who only gets to race a few times a year, this is a very expensive and crappy change.

No I have not. I have moved and the closest track is over 2 hours from me. The last race I was at was the USVTA nats @ Harbor Hobbies. I am waiting to hear from someone if they upgraded or not. I already said that I am coming. That means I have to get different transponders. I am just trying to figure out if the $35 upgrade from mylaps would work at both places or if I have to spend the $85. That is a big difference...

If you cant get it worked out before coming down just let me know as I have 5 of the new transponders and would be happy to let you borrow one for the weekend. That way you dont have to rush out and get the new ones yet if you dont need too.

I know there is a lot of hype about the RC4. I have just upgraded to one and it counts my mrt just fine. I think in a lot of cases the MRT's will work.
Even so MRT has a new PT that will work RC4 and a great trade in policy with a special deal on another PT at half.
