Yeah my problem is my memory , I tried running one transponder a few times and after the third time in a weekend I put the car on the track with no transponder and everyone waited while I installed it, I decided to run one per car.

We used to do that with our house transponders...had a lot of transponders that needed repair after that. It isn't how large the crash is that does it...it is how fast the cars go from top speed to 0 in almost no distance in an on-road crash. Might be a good idea to try Shure Lock instead of Velcro.

Last year, the system provided for Spec GT was a Novak Club ESC and 17.5 motor combo. The last thing that was posted on this forum about this class was that Scotty was still working on the system for Spec GT.

I would suggest looking at the new MRT then as it's compatible with RC4. Trade ins of old MRTs work out around $40 a unit. More info and order form via [email protected]

What brand of 12th tires are popular and/or works the best for 12th 17.5 class at IIC?

I was wondering about this as well. Was thinking about using CRC pro cut tires because I'd rather not have to mess with a tire truer, but I have no experience with them. Also, if anyone had any suggestions for a good starting point for gearing/roll out for 12th 17.5, that would be appreciated.

I'm sure you could find someone at the race to help with that
I've run Bk/Ylw with good results there
This year I'll be running Ulti tires, Hard Fr, Med Rr
Roll out varies by brand, but I think 100+ is common
