The timing in the motors "is" adjustable. But with ours anyway, it doesn't do anything really. Not enough to make any difference anyway.
Eventually, there will lots of tuning options in the ESC. Timing, "vtec" I've talked about this before so it's never been a secret. Just right now, the cost factor comes into play, and timing. We've always and I mean from the Get Go, have intended to offer all kinds of tuning options for the curves and power of the motor. But truthfully, all out raw linear power is the way to go. Ask some of our guys that have run them. Sure it takes a few packs to get used to, and you have to know what your doing with a fast mod car, but it's good, It's really good to have mad rip all the time. We're racing here right??? But we totally understand why diferent feels are needed for differnt tracks, We're racing right......
When all the technology catches up with the ideas, you'll have unimaginable things you can do with your ESC, never mind data logging and information from the car. It's kind of fun to think about, but it's still a few years away.
Currently I think we use a quad wind. So double, single triple, all that, it's all available, but there's more to it then just that. Wire fill rates and copper percentages all come into play like regular motors. Really you end up making less power, the combintions are endless, so we go for max power most of time and let you "Pick" a wind.
BURITO- Thanks Mate. That's good to know. I get that question on a daily basis. Are you going to the TITC Race in Bangkok??
