13.5 open ESC for SS. Bring back boosted. This should be the class racers aspire to be in nationally. It is still faster than Mod was 5 years ago.

Considering the IIC was the first race to go full blinky for the Superstock classes, I think it would be very strange for them to revert a year later.

It was too bad they threw the baby out with the bathwater, but I know what you mean.

Unfortunately I seem to be in the minority here and agree with the above statement.

The problem with Rick's statement is the difference between a 13.5 and a 3.5. If you have someone running mod with a 13.5 and someone with a 3.5 the straight away speed may ruin two cars at the end of the straight.

We started running 17.5/10.5 boosted/mod. The difference between 10.5 and mod is great enough where you have to slam on the brakes at the end of straightaway in practice.

But back to SS motor. I can picture them going to 10.5 or 13.5 blinky.

As for 12th scale I wouldn't hold my breath on that being boosted 13.5

From the IIC Facebook page...

HI there, Well I wanted to get everyone on track and up to speed on things for the classes for the 2013 IIC.

AMATEUR 17.5 TOURING
STOCK 17.5 TOURING
SUPER STOCK 13.5 TOURING
MODIFIED TOURING
1/12TH STOCK
1/12TH SUPER STOCK
1/12TH MODIFIED
WGT
MODIFIED WGT... THAT IS CORRECT. MODIFIED. WHY NOT!
FORMULA -1
SPEC GT.

All the class specific rules will be forthcoming but no real changes from last year.

We had one of our best IIC last year with these classes and I am again excited for them. Mod WGT is just going to be Kaaa razy!

If you have any questions at all, please let me know.
Thanks
Scotty

I built that page early in the year and I guess I didn't update it since then.
