track allows for multiple layouts and the one prepared for the actual race looks to be the best choice. I expect very nice racing and high speeds.

12th scale is hard because the cars are so sensitive to setup skills and wrenching skills. Its nearly impossible to drive a tweaked 12th scale car but a TC you can get a way with. They have to be perfect to run at those speeds. Marc had a great team building his car and working on his car. I would say that if Marc was working on his own car he would not have won 12th scale. The experience in 12th scale is what is needed when wrenching on the car and setting it up and that is what he lacks. Driving it is the thing he is good at just like everything else. He is fast in off road as well.

Actually it was not. The car is a box stock XTI Altered Ego with a different chassis and U plate. That's it. He ran the car exactly as we built it other than changing to a one step stiffer center spring. If you look at the Live RC photos of the bottom of the car, you can see 4 screws inline on the bottom of the car. The back two are holding the shock mount. The front two are for a second shock mount. We used the second shock mount as a spacer for mounting his electronics in case they wanted to move the shock forward, his electronics would not have to move. I guess I forgot to take it out, and he ran it the whole time!

So far a battle between Tamiya and Yokomo as they have the two 5 positions in TC qualifying.
Of course RV is at the top of the chart so far...

Where's Hebert after day one? I didn't see him on the list.

What car is Hara driving at this event?

3 time 1/12 WC David Spashett won the original ISTC in 1998. Technically not a WC for sedan, it was one of the most epic Tc races ever, when everybody was racing sedan.
