I beg to differ. 1/12 scale as well as 1/8 nitro has a whole different skill set to be competitive. The track layout was easy, which made it look the same. Try driving a mod 1/12 strapped, then comment on the relevance of 1/12 mod

Agreed. Only MR33 could pull off such a feat. The bloke is an amazing steerer.

I just want to say congrats to the whole CRC crew. Those guys have been so close so many times. They definitely deserved to win one.

Here's hoping the release the car and make some coin from it! It was largely prototype apparently.

Plus they funded the carpet didn't they? Awesome to get such a result.

I'll 2nd that! CRC Raceway and Hobbies is close by and I race there as often as I can. Great group of guys (Frank, Brian, Whopper, etc) Winning 1/12 and 1/10 kits. Well deserved win indeed

Your comment has no point

MR33 is a wheel, simple as that

What? 12th is the class that shows who the best DRIVERS are. Doesn't matter if their 12th scale "specialists" or not. Touring car is an engineers medium first, and a driver's medium second.

12th scale is all about wheeling a ballistic car, especially on a tight track like this.

Seeing as only ONE TC wdc has a 12th scale title, I think it's a bit harder than your oversimplified analysis makes it appear.

And as for track complaints, 8.8 second laps are never easy. Look how many times the best racers on earth blew out. Dots, and cute little sweeping layouts are for the weak. If you screw up, you deserve to lose time, not just slide over a dot. dots are for your wheels, not your racetrack.

Thumbs up

Well said brotherman!!

....... But to add..... I wouldn't change a thing..... Looking at that layout, that's how we roll here in the states and many of us racers run on layouts that size too. We saw some great qualifying and racing this past week...... Sometimes keeping it simple leads to less drama overall.....

......Bravo to the staff and all who helped make this possible..... Was fun, I gotra say.... So..... Onto the TC portion of these Worlds...... I have a feeling that too will not disappoint.

My man!!! That is what 12th used to be. Push as hard as you can handle, but respect the barriers. I contend that if ALL 12th scale tracks were like this, We'd have a far different last 3 Worlds, barring MR's ass kicking earlier today.

Tracks have limits. I also hate paved run-offs in F-1, they encourage poor driving choices. Mistakes should count, and an "Easy Layout" based on real track borders shows who the best are.

And the best is MR33 as of yesterday. I hope he wins TC too.....

Is the track layout as per previous? Or is it new for everyone?
