Can someone please bring a speedgun to the 1/12 portion so we can see how fast the Mod cars are on the straight.
Need to settle a 'discussion'

Some of the speedos out there log a maximum motor RPM for the last run completed. You could use that with the rollout to calculate the maximum speed achieved by the car?

The Stage 2 report says check-in and registration is from 3-6pm on Sunday, but is it now 6-9pm?

Just want to confirm that this has been shifted back by three hours, as all prior communication (that I can find) seems to indicate 3-6pm. Maybe this was communicated in an earlier post that I missed. If so, sorry!

Thanks Tim.

Hey Rick and Lloyd,

Minnregg will Open at 3PM and Close at 6PM for Drivers. This is for Early registration and setup. Minnregg will close at 6PM to Drivers and reopen at 7AM. Sorry for the confusion I clearly couldn't read the Stage 2 Report myself! LOL

Default IFMAR measurement discrepancies

I am preparing my bodies for the 10th scale portion of the event and I have a question. On page 15 of the IFMAR Rules, under Dimensions, the minimum height to the top of the roof ready to race is 110 mm (125 mm w/ chassis on top of a 15mm block). The rear bumper "cut line" maximum is 30mm (45mm w/ chassis on a 15 mm block). However on page 16 under "global body specs", these dimensions "R" minimum roof line measurement is 115mm and "S" maximum rear bumper cut line is 35mm. There is a 5mm discrepancy between the two published measurements. Which one do I (all of us) use to be in compliance?

Thanks,
Lee

It is the rule 5.1 on Page 15 that we race to.

The rule 5.3.4 on page relates to requirements for bodyshell submission under gbs. If the bodyshell is already on the list then it has already met the rule 5.3.4. Essentially the rule is there for the manufacturers and not the racers.
