Default caster block issue

checking over my car today I noticed that each of the caster blocks have section now missing from them on the back side. I think this happened when the ball came out of the ackerman plate (was using 2mm spacer so not a lot of thread to go in) and the sterring knuck slammed into the back on the caster block.

I have since changed to a smaller spacer just to have more threads in the ackerman plate.

When I was running the original caster blocks I had that issue too. They stated that the issue has been resolved. So far with the new ones have been great!

Well, not for me. I just broke another and it is my last one. And this time it was not an Ackerman issue.

This is somewhat frustrating as i really like the car but it doesn't do me any good if I can't run it.

Xray caster blocks seem to fit so at least I get to keep racing this weekend.

Sweet, just check to make sure those little bushings don't bind up
Good lock with your race

Hello

Yes the caster block design have been changed. There is 1mm more matter arround the large hole for CVDs.

But it could takes time to have them available in each country / each shop, due to stock amount of old versions @ national distributors.

Yes, Xray caster block could save you race

Put the cover on top and it is competed set to run. Obviously, the suspension is lower, chassis is smaller, and the weight of entire car kit is lighter then last model. In addition, the gear and pulley with belt run smoothly and sound is not too loud.

Yes, a "low cost" version of a mix between E4RS II and E4RS II EVO.

Available next week.

I got to see Robertcooper88's EVO at the track this past weekend. The quality is top notch and on the level of the high end cars. The car was dialed with the kit setup on asphalt and was fast and easy to drive. He TQ'ed 17.5 at the FER (Florida Electric Racers) race at the Nuggets R/C Track.

I got one ordered and looking forward to building it later this week.
