Hey Neil,
The hop-up comes with three "torque plates" as Tamiya calls it, and all three are mounted up front with two of them on the bottom of the gearcase.

I have been running the stabilizer plate outdoors. My car actually turned better with it than without it. I didn't run it indoors last season because everyone said it didn't work. I may try it when I start running indoors again. My opinion on the whole Tamiya thing is that they make a great product. Sure they have their issues, but so does every other car on the market. If you don't like 'em don't run 'em. But I would say that you're missing out, because the 201 is a blast to drive.

Welp, Neil the arms are in, and we will see how they work this weekend. Won't change the setup and see what it does at Tamiya America. I'm on the fence of running my f201 at the Toyota/Lexus Cup.
