With the 23T motors for the nats, the F201 will be a flying rocket! Has anyone had experience with this motor in the F201?

We race F201's with 19T motors and they are pretty fast. Lot's of fun to drive, but they push quite a bit more with the higher speeds. You'll need to adjust your turn in point accordingly.

Tower hobby has some Tamiya foam tires "made for the F1 cars" that will need to be glued on, can there is used for the 201?

That would be cool if an after market company made foams. The would be amazing to drive!

The car would no longer be that scale look that most F1 racers are after.

That's true, the realism would be gone. But since there are so many hop up parts out already, foams would be nice!

Hey Neil, shouldn't you be PB'ing for Serpent right about now? hmm Serpent...Spearmint Rhino! Make sure you take the boys over there if they have time haha.

It would be cool if an aftermarket company made ribbed foamies for the f201...that'd be cool for all of the rug rats.

Yup, I'm ready, but I might be testing a 23T motor on the high speed gear set to see how the brush and comm. comes out. But I'll be ready to go back to Monster Horespower motor. Other than no changes to the setup.

Huh? Rod, here we speak English, not Asspanole. Too hot in Ontario, they don't really need me until the mains on Sun.

gtypecanare,

I'll be testing more setups on Sat. (I'm gonna throw that fiber glass plate back on... hehehehe) I'll be doing the stock motor trim tomorrow, I figure I can start testing the 23T around beginning of Sept.

See you tomorrow

Hey Steve,
Sounds good, I'll have a Monster motor fresh to run. I just wanna see how the 23T motor does with the speed-tuned gears and stock gears. Kinda weird science stuff for the morning. Looks like we'll have another beautiful day tomm. for testing and learning . To all the F201 racers in Washington state, good luck!

Tamiya will be releasing a reinforced lower suspension arm for the F201 in late September.
