I love TCS, I love F201...I just don't think they are setting it up for success...watch it'll be gone next season unfortunatley..and replaced with the 103.
I still think the class could be fixed...and popular/mainstream even!
I concur It would have not been a big thing for Tamiya to come out with a carbon fiber chassis kit for an upgrade. I for one was left flat with the F201 from the day I first got it!
It was like driving a battleship on land no gearing ops! a few bodies. wheels and tires Well need I say more. I for one have not gone to a TCS event because they did away with the F103 all the Money we spend on this Hobby you think a company would stand by its product and keep making parts!
Now I make a Chassis for the F201 and we see lap times with a 19t motor getting up there and turning the same lap times as the people with the TCS setup cars running mods .
So I say so long to the F201 It will be missed!!!!!! we are making other F1 cars as well we have a 2WD belt car coming out and 1/10 2WD Nitro F1 a T/Plate F1 car and maybe by the New Year a 1/8 scale F1 Nitro!
Oh and that is a 72 48p spur gear on this chassis!
here is a look at T/plate with foams on it because I am not done with the rear wheel adapters and rear wing mount!. We might even make a car to run in the class as the F103GT!!!!!! and kick the crap out of it!
