When you say "open tire", does this mean that foam tires are allowed?

I don't think the 103 chassis will be legal for this event? Just guessing. [email protected] has foams for F1's.

That was kind of my point. No mention of legal chassis in the original post.

It is a great idea....and I think for the OPEN CLASS, 200mm (F103 type) with foam should be allow.....the rest of the class are already covering the current 190 or 180mm spec, there is not reason to keep the open class the same width. Especially the open class (mod with foam) should be the fastest class out of the other spec.

Over at Japan, Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong, they are running open class under the open ESC, open motor and open tires rule...also including GYRO system as traction control.

Rich-->Also can't forget his great announcing. But you know they are going to have to change the lay out of the track for this. So it will be fair race for everyone.

Jeff-->Can't wait. But October, Damn that's a while. Where did you find some of these classes? Did you make them up and put them together? Or are you going off a set of rules and classes off another race. I say we let the people talk and see what kind of rules and classes they want. So if anyone gets mad or upset then you can be like I am not the one who made the rules the people that are racing did. You know what I mean. Right?

Default Forgot!

That's a great idea about the track layout, but I don't think there is any danger of me standing on any podiums....I was just happy that a national race is going to be so close to home! My son's are already pumped!

And yes, Jeff is a GREAT announcer during the races.

Grats on your awesome job at the Nats in Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago too Frankie!

We(Lajf Racing, Sweden) run F1, All F1 chasises allowed except the corally (sorry all corallys)
foam tires(or rubbers if you like them better) and 13.5T motor, free timing but no dynamic timing, a gearing max of 2,7
It is alot of fun and the cars are pretty fast.

[B*****]Open tire can be foam or rubber.***** [/B]

The Mini class will be announced

Shouldn't the 21.5 "blinky" class be the non-sponsored racer class and the class allowing sponsored racers be the 17.5 "blinky"?
