Id be for tamiya rules for mini...keep it simple including rpm limits. Maybe give the option of silver can or 21.5 blinky. The current tcs mini rules are aboit the most equal since ive raced in the series. Then maybe 4wd mini ..17.5 blinky? Id love to break out my old RS4 mini pro!!! Or even my Xpress GTO962!!!

One question, "When in October is this race being planned?" Trying to get an idea so that if I decide to go, I can make my arrangements in plenty of time.

Update on my previous post about date(s) for this race. October will be here before you know it.

Open Johnson 540 silver can motor for Mini would be nice.

We already have a Nationals event for Tamiya TCS motor rules.

Default F1 and Mini Nats

Thanks for the update Jeff, I know you and Sam will put on a great race (as you do every weekend).

Here's another pic (with my oldest son, Jake all the way on the left of the drivers stand - stolen from Chris Menear) for those of you that have never been to the track.

I'm sure Jeff at Jeff's R/C Studio will be filming this event.

Here is a short video of an Oval race, as you can see Jeff has a large indoor pit space as well as indoor hobby store, indoor dirt off-road and indoor carpet oval track.

I see Felix was running a f103 so my question is will you allow wide as well as narrow cars or go by the UF1 rules that call for 190mm max width. Don"t matter to me would just like to know which one to set up for.

There are so many types of F1's out now we are going to run them together. At this track it does not appear that one width has an advantage over the other.

The only stipulation is that you will HAVE TO run F1 tires and wheels. No pan car or world gt tires allowed. No pan car front ends allowed.

Classes are getting sorted out now.
