The XI comes with a one way.

It comes with a plastic spool. That will be fine to drift with.

90% of your drift setup will be in your tires. The other 10% is a combination of chassis setup and how sexy your car body looks.

Regarding the anti-roll bars, will it be useful or sufficient to install only the front?

Thanks

If you buy the swaybbar set and mounting gear, you can play around with different swaybar setups. After playing with the car bone stock, try a medium in the front with none in the back. See how you like it after that, and go from there. A few of us have posted our setups. But the reality is that many of us are of various skill levels and drive differently.

Hope this helps.

I ended up getting the zero s v2 diff over the ultimate, on rcmart they don't show them as compatible, but on 3racing's website it shows the diff as compatible for the xi sport...just wondering if anyone know if the only difference maybe is the inclusion of the gear in the center?

Thank you guys, for answering the question at all, I picked up a set of tires and wheels that came on the d3, but I got the gray version, just to have a set of cheap tires to start off with, I would actually love to find out where near san francisco is there a place to meet other rc peoples

Should be interchangeable of its dais that on 3racing web site mature just remember diff heard on zero and xi arr 37/38 tooth and ultimate at 40 tooth. Centre shafts should be interchangeable

No. Aluminum bulkheads are not necessary.

With that said, they will definitely improve durability and coolness. The pink toe blocks, steering system, and toe blocks fit into the same category. Not necessary, but very useful and cool.

Default engine and esc

Hi guys. Thinking about buying this kit.
I have a hpi vector 4800 engine and esc combo from an e firestorm flux 10t.
Will i be able to install this on the kit or will it not be a good suit.

Also what size body do you buy for this?

It takes a 190mm body
Speedy and motor should be ok just watch spur and pinion gears.
Not 100%on motor though just so you know. Ive seen 4.5turn in them so should be ok

If the swaybars and a kimbrough 66t are not properly working, something may be out of whack.
just started out on rc'c again,it's all new to me after 25+years, got myself an XI sports, after reading most opf the post I've decided to try 4.0fdr for my gear ratio planning to use 21.5t until I get the hang of it again....
I've just purchased a 3racing branded spur gear(48p 68t) and a 34t pinion,
encountered a problem with fitting the spur gear to the centre pulley,
can I trim the edges of the centre pulley plate

I trimmed mine with no negative results. I did order a spare to have in my parts box.

Just kidding. After a season, i always end up changing a few bearings. Do all the ones in the zero kit fit the xi?
