I hear what you're saying, and with these types of bodies it's all about the look I reckon, so the ability to slam it down low will be good.

FYI - My 'race' body (LTC-R) is only 193mm, my Tamiya Ferrari shell is 190, the Audi is 185, Tamiya Evo 7 is 187 all going on my Tamiya 417v5 which is only 180 at the top of wheels (with 2deg camber). Where we race, we use foam tyres, so buying offset wheels is not an option.

I'll wait till I see a few 'real' pics on cars before I outlay any $$.

Cheers

CHARLIE BROWN:

snoopyrc is right. Traxxas 4-Tec wheels/tires. They look really great for the price.

Great looking body! Maybe we can run a 'Camaro Challenge' using this body

Yeah thanks for the already known info. Might want to quote the right person next time though.

Very cool! This looks awesome! I just purchased one to review for my blog--MachoCave.TV! We're in the process of reviewing touring cars and this is an awesome looking body!

Just received it Here's a little video first look
http://youtu.be/mftBz1beoEU

It's a little too modern to race for VTA, and you can race it in regular touring car classes. I'll probably be using it for a drift car

I think you must be unaware of GT racing (UGT/USGT) with 21.5. It is one of the most fun racing I do!

Thanks for letting me know about (UGT/USGT) with 21.5! It sounds like a lot of fun I just haven't seen this in my area just yet, I'm going to try traveling out of state to see what everyone else is racing

It's a pretty decent body, I like it a lot I don't have a GT group in my area and if there is a GT group--sorry I just haven't found you guys yet

I primarily use it on my drift car as it has that awesome drift car look to it

I ran my Camaro for the first time Saturday. Looks great on the track and handles well. I did notice that it has less steering than the Tamiya Audi R8 body that it replaced, but a couple suspension changes and I had that taken care of.
