Those were sold as 12T (fast) to 7T (stupid fast) motors. What are you looking to replace?

Back in the day...

Most Offroad guys ran 10T (Reedy Sonic 2's not Reedy Platinum's. The big comm had better torque)

Most Onroad guys ran 8T (Reedy Sonic 2's in Sedans and Platinum's in 1/12)

Today you would want to run Reedy Sonic Mach 2 Brushless motors.

Offroad: 8.5T
Onroad: 4.0T or 4.5T Sedan, 4.0T or 3.5T in 1/12

I feel Reedy makes the best Mod class motors bar none.

Are you racing or just running for fun? Modified motors are FAST. If you are new to racing you might have more fun running spec classes at first. If you are running for fun you mich want to get something more mellow so you have decent run times.

i have a customizable on road to off road chasis 1/10 scale but i prefer on road, so do you think that the 4t is good enough?

I think a 4T would be way too much power. This is only useful in very high level organized racing. If you want to go fast and have fun get the 8.5T. Be sure to check the temp and gear it so it never goes above ~160 deg F.
