Default HPI Sprint 2 flux-beginner with a few questions

Hello, I was hoping just to ask a few questions. I've just received a HPI sprint 2 flux from ebay as my first R/C car for a while and my first electric!

I just was wondering if when rolling the car it should feel a bit "lumpy" it does seem to roll smoothly, and the pinion gear when not meshed with the spur seems to rotate with the magnets making it a bit "lumpy". Is this normal?

I am also wondering how to check that its in LiPo mode, as I cant work out how to get into the ESC menu as the manual shows there being a button, which I can seem to find?

And finally would the HPI Flux Reload Pro would be able to help me in the ESC menu? or would that not work for that kind of thing?

Thanks for taking the time to look!
Adrian

New?
Used?
You have a manual -
Is the ESC in your car the same as the manual?

Sorry, It was brought used, however it has only been used once from the previous owner. The ESC show in the manual is the one with an external button, which is the same as the instruction for the car which I downloaded from HPI. However the ESC on the car has no button/switch. It simply turns on once the battery is connected.

Has to be an on/off switch somewhere unless the owner cut it out of the system...
What's the eBay auction number so I can see the pics that were posted -
That might help -

That is the listing for the car, however there isn't any pictures of a top down view. If you know of how i can post a picture to this thread then I can do that now and show you.
Thanks

Got it...

Yeah, you need at least 10 posts to do links and pictures...

Does your ESC look like this one - http://www.rcplanet.com/HPI_Racing_S.../hpi105906.htm

NO, the ESC is all black with a orange "vapor" label on the outside edge. The cooling fins are black and are about 3/4 inch high. also has the 3 bullet connectors on the right hand side. if you search HPI sprint 2 ESC on google images, there is one on there.

It was the manual that came up on HPI's website under manuals for the sprint 2 flux.
